A Quick Update

She says she's not moving ... that she knows it's not what's best for her. But, she goes with her dad this weekend to talk about it. So that's definitely subject to change. I've left it in God's hands now. He'll take care of her no matter what. All I can do is just sit back now and let the plan unfold .. whether it's God's plan or the one Kyndal has taken over. I must admit my stomach is in knots, though, and likely will be all weekend. It's just so hard to image that on Sunday she really could be coming home to pack her things to leave. I'm trying to be prepared for a sucker punch on Sunday when she gets back. I'm hoping to just be pleasantly surprised with a hug!

In the meantime, Dawson and I are going to rally the little kids together and decorate our house for Christmas. Rick is on a business trip so we're on our own this year. But we can do it! I'm going to make sugar cookies for the kids to decorate. And, we'll got to Bass Pro Shop to see Santa. I'm going to surround myself in Christmas happiness this weekend to take my mind off the stresses of this upcoming decision.

I hope you all have a great weekend!

  2. I know that one day I may face the same situation girl, and my heart breaks that you have to go through that. God's plan will be revealed, and even though I know it may not be what you might want it to be, God knows best. He has a reason. It may be to show her things she doesn't see or understand. It may just be a growing experience for her.

I pray that you will have the strength and comfort of God to help you through this time. Just have a fun weekend with the other kiddos, and try to enjoy your time with them...easier said than done I know!

    Hugs to you sweet friend!

  3. I will be praying for you and for Kyndal that she will return with a great big hug for you.

That just breaks my heart how difficult. Take comfort that it's in God's hands and you are being showered with prayer.

  4. I will be praying for you this weekend. I have needed to cling to Philippians 1:6 a great deal lately with some things going on in my extended family and I will pray that for you and for Kyndal! Just remember He knows the plans He has for both of you!

    Blessings,
    Marilois
