Have you ever gone to an amusement park with a group of people and someone wanted you to ride a roller coaster that you absolutely did not want to ride? And did that person drag you on there, against your will (with whatever tactic they had)? And did you want to vomit the entire time you were on it?
I hate roller coasters! They make me sick to my stomach! And I don't feel real great toward people who pull me onto roller coasters that I do not want to ride.

Hang on tight, close your eyes and pray that God will get you through it.

Sit down, take a breath, close your eyes, say a prayer. Remember everything comes to an end eventually and hopefully it won't be as bad as you first thought.
ReplyDeleteInstead of resenting the person forcing you on the roller coaster, say "No." Control the things you can and let go of the things you can't. You can't necessarily control what's going on but you can control how you react to it.
