How long have you been married? Is there something, that thing, that just keeps cycling around causing one or both of you hurt and pain? Every marriage does. And if you're like us you have tried to figure out what to do about it, how to make changes to make it better. And if you're like us, it's come cycling around again!
We have that thing. And last night we had that aha moment, after almost nine years of marriage. It wasn't the moment of knowing exactly how to fix it. But it was the aha moment of finally understanding why it's such a big deal and why it keeps coming up.
Without going into any detail, because it's so personal, let me just say that the realization we had will change our marriage forever.
And all that happened over fish and chips.
After our dinner Rick suggested we stop at Starbucks for coffee. Rick doesn't even drink coffee.
It was a great date!
