Nicole's Daybook

Outside my window... WOW hot!!!

I am thinking... about how even though the job market for teachers is not good, I would still like to start working on getting my teaching degree to use in the future.

I am thankful ... that Eli's dentist appointment is over. He had two cavities filled and two baby teeth extracted. He wasn't happy!

I am wearing... brown shorts, a coral pink American Eagle tank and huaraches.

I am wondering... what it takes to teach a 13 year old boy responsibility.

I am creating... balloon flip flops for Brynne and a shadow box of Rick's OSU stuff.

I am going... to do everything in my power to stay in the house this week and stay cool!

I am reading... Every Last One by Anna Quindlen.

I am hoping... that Kyndal has a great time at church camp this week, spending time with her friends and that she squeezes in a real encounter with God.

On my mind... is our future.

From the learning rooms... lots of trips to the library and working on forming the habits of morning chores.

Noticing that ... Brynne was traumatized by us leaving her for so long when we went to Hawaii and that we won't be doing that again for a very long time.

From the kitchen... I'm back to cooking and trying to use as much from my garden as I can and keep our meals healthy and low fat.

Around the house... things are starting to get back to normal after our vacation last week.

One of my favorite things... is the way I feel after I run.

A few plans for the rest of the week... We have nothing planned for the rest of the week. And I mean nothing.

From my picture journal.

  1. I was wondering about your kiddos! That is sad she was traumatized by you being gone. Hopefully Kyndal is having a wonderful time!

I enjoyed a peek into your daybook and life!

Oh, you should get your teaching degree! I'm hoping to get a preschool job at the elementary school. This will be the first time to have a pre-school!
