Yesterday Rick and I went on date number 19 of 52. (This past week we also did a "usual date" of going to the tanning salon, Home Depot and then dinner, so that was 18/52).
Rick went to college at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Other than the college, Stillwater is probably most famous for it's Eskimo Joe's restaurants.
I think Rick has real-life dreams about Eskimo Joe's blackened chicken sandwich. So, we decided to make our date night this week a Stillwater road trip to Eskimo Joe's. It's a drive of about an hour and a half. But, we love car trips together because it gives us uninterrupted time to talk.
We talked, we ate (a lot), we shopped in the Eskimo Joe's store (and got t-shirts, new cups, socks, a hat, a coffee mug), we stopped at Panera for a chocolate cookie and coffee, and we drove back home.
Another great date!
